“Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”

imageAfter nearly two weeks in India, our team has settled into the last leg of our trip – Egypt. We’re continuing to process all that we experienced in India, though, as you can see from one of our team member’s reflections. Blanca spoke of her interactions with so many religious views over the past two weeks like this:

“Someone mentioned an idiom today in their attempt to explain why in Indian people worship so many gods. I m pretty sure you have heard ‘don’t put all your eggs in one basket.’ If you haven’t, it means that you should not concentrate all your efforts on only one option because what if you lost everything, right? And that, my friends, is the reason why people need to hear that with Christ, we don’t need a plan B or plan G or even plan Z. Jesus Christ is sufficient. His grace is sufficient.

Christ died on the cross so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life with Him. He chose death, so you wouldn’t have to lose your life.”

Keep praying for our team as we wrap up this vision trip, and pray that the people of India will come to know Christ as their only hope and salvation.
