Prayer for the New Year

Prayer is such an integral part of our ministry – of any ministry, really. The CARH staff knows that any new endeavor and any continued work must be bathed in prayer. It’s easy to become so caught up in the excitement of the GO and DO aspects of ministry that we forget to slow down long enough to share with and listen to the Lord.

As we launch into 2016, there is a hefty list of prayer matters weighing on our hearts and minds, and we would love for you to join us in intercession.

  • Pray for new ministry teams

Next month we are sending out a team to Malaysia for the first time. They will serve alongside a local ministry partner to engage in urban evangelism. We will also be sending teams back to Greece to continue our partnership there. The work may be the same, but each team is unique and differently skilled and gifted.

You can pray specifically that each of these new team members will be both prepared and flexible, ready to pour out in ministry and service wherever their team might be going.

Also pray that God continues to raise up new teams of people who are passionate about the Gospel and the people of the world who have yet to hear.

  • Pray for the people we will meet over the next several months.

Our staff is engaged in leading teams around the world, but we are also pursuing relationships with new ministry partners day by day. Pray for those we are meeting who have yet to come to Christ. Ask the Lord to bring people into their path who can share the message and hope of the Gospel. And also pray for these new partnerships that they would be fruitful and God-honoring.

  • Pray for the workers around the world who are sharing the Message.

You can pray for those who have been sent out from our local congregations, and also pray for the national partners coming to know the Lord and rising up as leaders in their own communities. Join with us in interceding on their behalf, asking the Lord to renew their strength and commitment to His cause.

“And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him.” – I John 5:14-15
